I want to take this opportunity to describe to you what we at Bank of Crockett think of some of the new developments in banking.
There are lots of new trends. We approve of some, and don't like others. Every day sees new bank mergers - national, regional - some huge and others very large. This is a trend we intend to avoid. We see a need for a bank that can keep its focus on its customers and its community. We like being a community bank; it's what we have always done and it's what we will continue to do.
Some of the new trends in the development of new technologies are interesting. So long as they allow us to increase our service levels, we still stay current, and, in appropriate cases, we will lead. We believe that on-line banking can increase our service levels to some of you. We will continue to broaden this new service so that it becomes increasingly valuable.
